Google is putting money into an alternative for petrol based energy

This investment is considered to be more substantial than the previous attempts of the search engine giants.
When the price of petrol is increasing, US government is entertaining the use of geothermal energy. In the official blog of Google, they explain the process by which the Enhanced Geothermal systems project works. They try to reproduce the natural conditions for geothermal energy in an artificial and controlled environment. EGS is expected to work with high availability of power and energy.
