Of the so many technologically superior inventions that have been made by the US Army, this is the one that has caught the imagination of the the internet world by storm.

In what is one of its kind the US armed forces have developed a robotic dog that can be used in the battlefields. Powered by a gasoline engine the robotic dog can march along side the troops and is capable of carrying equipments.  It can keep its balance intact on the rough terrain and is capable of carrying a load of 340lb.

Such is the craze that it has now been viewed almost 6 million times at the time of me writing this post.

In its current avatar, the robotic dog can be controlled from remote locations.  At a speed of around 4 mph it can climb terrains at a slope of 35 degrees.
