The research and studies conducted in the University of Washington have shown that, they are trying to develop a new file sharing system. They claim that, this will replace the world famous peer to peer system existing here. The main idea behind the development of this p4p system which will replace the p2p system is that, files can be transferred between people in the same area without causing network congestion. The choice used in p2p system is random. In the initial tests, they could prove that, network download could be improved without having to compromise the performance of the network.
